WHAT:  28th ANNUAL WHS-ROTARY CLUB CROSS COUNTRY CLASSIC

  

WHEN:  Saturday, September 20, 2008 (SECOND weekend of the CIF-SS season)

  
WHERE:  Woodbridge High School, 2 Meadowbrook, Irvine, CA 92604

  

DIVISIONS:  Blue (I), Gold (II), Red (III), White (IV).   Divisions are based on past history and not CIF alignment.

  

AWARDS:

  

      a)  Custom medals to the first 90 finishers in each race

  

      b)  Trophies to the first 6 teams in each race (based on 5 runners)

  

      c)  Sweepstake trophy to one team in each of the four divisions

  

      d)  Grand Champion trophy to one boy and one girl team for the

           entire meet

  

      e)  Female and Male Athletes of the meet (best time/race of the day)

  

SCORING:

  

      a)  RACE:  Scored as per cross country rules (our computer

           program displaces)

  

      b)  SWEEPSTAKES:  Finishing rank of each team in the 6 of 7 races

           listed in the Meet Schedule (no JV girls)

   

      c)  GRAND CHAMPION:  The best 5 times for each school (regardless

           of division) will be added for the boys and girls of that high school
